Ergonomic Saddle Pad Liners "DR" The Matrix saddle pad liners (Schoolingliners) complement the technical features of the Matrix saddle pads whilst also acting as a dirt barrier to keep the saddle pads clean. The underside of the Schoolingliner is made from a non-slip, low-friction fabric (ETCYg™), which holds the saddle and pad securely in place without restricting the horse’s movement. A thin mesh membrane forms a single unit with the pad lying on top of it. This combination prevents the underlay from creasing and ensures high breathability. Together, the underlay and pad function like a cross-quilted saddle cloth. The straps of the Matrix saddle pads pass through special slits in the underlay (see image below) to create a secure and optimised unit. This means that a saddle pad can be used with different Matrix saddle pad underlays for several horses (e.g. in riding schools). Naturally, this is precisely why these underlays are also suitable for machine washing and tumble drying.
