Here it is at last: the hoof ointment for all problem hooves! Whether too soft or too hard, EQUIDURA hoof ointment regulates the horn moisture of every hoof. EQUIDURA hoof ointment with laurel oil and other highly effective caring components improves the horn elasticity of the hooves and keeps them healthy. EQUIDURA not only remains as a layer on the hoof surface, it is absorbed deep into the hoof wall and also strengthens the hoof from the inside. The hoof horn remains breathable. EQUIDURA hoof ointment reliably protects the hooves from drying out in summer or in the case of dry shavings bedding, as well as from softening due to moisture penetration, e.g. water and urine. Through care with EQUIDURA, the moisture balance of the horn is restored in a natural way and horn stability increases. The hoof horn becomes supple again, preventing not only horn cracks but also common hoof problems such as hoof breakage. In the case of shod horses, the horseshoes last much longer. Careful attention is paid to the selection of the best raw materials in the production process. Application: Depending on the condition of the hooves, EQUIDURA is applied as follows:If the hooves are too dry: Allow the hooves to soak in water for a few minutes before application. Then apply EQUIDURA only to the outer hoof wall and the coronet band. If the hooves are too soft, apply EQUIDURA to the dry hooves and the coronet band. Treat the sole of the hoof and, if necessary, the frog. For normal hoof condition:Apply EQUIDURA daily to the outer hoof wall and the coronet band for care and maintenance.Tip: Daily application makes the hooves strong and elastic. If EQUIDURA is also applied 2 cm thick in the coat over the coronet band, it will continue to run over the hoof wall for hours due to body heat.
