The Competition-Pads from Matrix offer protection and support for the back muscles (horse) without restricting freedom of movement. The top of the pad is fitted with a Velcro fastener to allow the Pro Impact Protections inserts to be replaced. The inserts are designed so that the horse's shoulder is not restricted in movement. This saddle pad is an all-in-one pad, already equipped with a "Pro Impact Ultra Light insert". The upper material is a high quality material made of ETC™. ETC™ is a breathable, non-slip material that keeps the saddle in its secure position, but at the same time does not cause friction, thereby preventing heat build-up. It also provides maximum breathability and heat dissipation. Coolback® fleece is 100% polyester originally used as a lambskin substitute in hospitals, then specifically designed around the horse's requirements. This orthopaedic fleece provides excellent pressure relief and even weight distribution, as well as rapid heat dissipation and breathability. The pads are super durable and of course machine washable and tumble dryable.

The inserts (inserts):

An ultra-light and ultra-thin layer (5 mm) with high density that absorbs 90% of the energy of all impacts. It protects the horse's back muscles from all the effects caused by the saddle and the rider. It minimises the energy dissipated by the horse, so that even the inexperienced rider can find a seat that is gentle and safe for both horse and rider, even with an uncomfortable horse. Maximum cushioning without restricting freedom of movement.
